Lauren A. Atwood concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation, including commercial, municipal, and labor/employment litigation, at both the state and federal levels. She is admitted to practice in New York State, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
A cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, Ms. Atwood earned her law degree cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University. While in law school, she served as a senior editor of the Albany Law Review. She also served as judicial intern to the Hon. Eugene P. Devine, J.S.C. and the Hon. David R. Homer, United States Magistrate Judge. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Justinian Society, Albany Law School’s honorary legal scholarship society for excellence in legal scholarship.
Ms. Atwood is a member of the Albany County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
