Mr. Goldberger, special counsel to G&F, has more than thirty-two years experience in the practice of labor law. Mr. Goldberger began his professional career as a trial and appellate attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C. and since 1973 as an attorney in private practice in Upstate New York representing both public and private employers in a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, higher education, health care, broadcasting, municipal government, transportation, and retail industries. In his many years of private practice, Mr. Goldberger has assisted employers in successfully resisting scores of union organizing efforts, has tried numerous representation, unfair labor practice, arbitration, and discrimination cases, and has bargained dozens of collective bargaining agreements. In addition to providing full-service labor representation to his many clients, Mr. Goldberger has lectured extensively and given seminars on labor relations and employment issues for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS), the New York State Health Facilities Association, the New York Hospital Association, the National Mass Retailing Institute, and various national and local personnel associations.
