Karen A. Halaco

Karen Halaco concentrates her practice in the areas of Education Law and Special Education Law and has extensive experience working with professional and trade associations on education matters. She is admitted to practice in New York and federal court in the Northern District of New York.
A graduate of The College of St. Rose, she also holds two master’s degrees from Rockefeller College of the University at Albany in library science and in public administration. She received her law degree from Albany Law School of Union University. While there, Ms. Halaco served on the Albany Law School Moot Court Board as an associate board member and as assistant director for competitions. She received the Robert A. Barker Award in recognition of her service to the Moot Court Program.
Also during law school, Ms. Halaco participated in the American Inns of Court Program. She was inducted into the Albany Law School Chapter of the National Order of Barristers in 2006.
