Ms. Lanchantin concentrates her practice in the area of labor and education law, civil service law  and real estate.  In regard to her education/labor law practice, she is experienced in collective bargaining, mediation, fact-finding, grievance processing, PERB proceedings and appeals before the Commissioner of Education.  Most of Ms. Lanchantin's practice is spent counseling school boards and their administrators in regard to day to day matters involving all aspects of education and labor law.  Ms. Lanchantin is active in negotiating numerous contracts each year.  Her experience with collective bargaining agreements allows her to provide the Firm's school district clients with various options regarding negotiating as well as in regard to the day to day issues which affect school districts.  Ms. Lanchantin also heads the real estate section of the firm.  She has served as counsel to Citibank and Citicorp in regard to their residential and commercial mortgage funding and foreclosures for the capital district region.  She is experienced in matters involving title to real property, SEQRA, residential and commercial real estate transfers, and the acquisition of property through eminent domain and annexation.  She negotiates and drafts contracts for the sale, purchase and lease of real property.

Ms. Lanchantin is a frequent speaker on the areas of Education Law and Labor and Employment Law.
