Education: College of St. Rose (B.A.); Rockefeller College, SUNY Albany, Masters In Library Science (M.S.); Rockefeller College, SUNY, Albany, Masters in Public Administration (M.A.); Albany Law School of Union University (J.D.).  In law school, Ms. Halaco served on the Albany Law School Moot Court Board as an Associate Board Member and as Assistant Director for Competitions. Ms. Halaco received the Robert A. Barker Award in recognition of her service to the Moot Court Program. During law school, Ms. Halaco also participated in the American Inns of Court Program. Ms. Halaco was inducted into the Albany Law School Chapter of the National Order of Barristers in 2006.

Prior to law school, Ms. Halaco worked extensively with professional and trade associations primarily in the area of education.

Ms. Halaco concentrates her practice in the area of Education and Special Education.
