Admitted to practice in New York.  Education: Ithaca College (B.S.)  cum laude; Albany Law School of Union University (J.D.) cum laude.  Recipient, Patrick B. McKenna Award for excellence in Labor Studies.  Ms. Wolverton served as a Note and Comment Editor of the Albany Law Review and authored Protecting Alcoholics Under the Americans with Disabilities Act and New York Law:  A Statutory Tug of War, Albany Law Review, Vol. 57, 1993.  Ms. Wolverton is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Cancer Society Capital Region Board of Advisors (President 2006-2008), WAMC Community Advisory Board and the Capital Leadership Class of 2006.

Ms. Wolverton practices almost exclusively in the areas of school, labor and employment law.  Ms. Wolverton is experienced in policy design, collective bargaining, grievance processing, improper practice proceedings, administrative agency appeals, employment agreements and employee discipline matters. She provides day-to-day advice and research on labor, employment, municipal finance and policy matters for our public and private sectors clients. She assists clients in formulating and implementing policies with regard to the ADA, the FMLA, employment-related legislation and drug and alcohol testing. Ms. Wolverton also specializes in matters dealing with NCLB, Project SAVE, charter schools, the Family Courts (e.g. PINS petitions), as well as special education and student discipline matters.  Ms. Wolverton is a frequent speaker on the areas of Education Law and Labor and Employment Law.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Wolverton was employed as a television news producer.
