Robert Manfredo concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation in state and federal court on both the trial and appellate levels and before administrative agencies. Mr. Manfredo represents clients in contractual disputes, residential and commercial construction claims and mechanics’ liens, business torts, employment and discrimination claims, residential and commercial eviction proceedings, property disputes, municipal issues, and personal injury matters.
A graduate of Siena College (magna cum laude), he received his law degree from Albany Law School of Union University (magna cum laude) where he was the recipient of the Judge Bernard S. Meyer Scholarship from the New York State Bar Foundation for excellence in legal writing and advocacy. While in law school, Mr. Manfredo served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Anthony J. Carpinello, Appellate Division, Third Department. He also served as the Executive Editor for Research and Writing for the Albany Law Review and authored Public Use & Public Benefit: The Battle for Upstate New York, 71 Alb. L. Rev. 673 (2008). Mr. Manfredo was the winner of both the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy and Donna Jo Morse Negotiations competitions and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers. Upon graduation, Mr. Manfredo was selected as a member of the Justinian Society for his excellence in legal scholarship.
Mr. Manfredo is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He currently is a member of the Capital Alliance of Young Professionals and is a graduate of the Leadership Tech Valley Class of 2011.
