William Pfeiffer’s practice areas include Elder Law, Tax, and Estate Planning and Administration. He has extensive experience working with individuals to develop and execute comprehensive wealth transfer programs. As a former partner of the Ayco Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, his practice was focused on senior corporate executives, venture capitalists, physicians and other high net worth individuals and their families.
He is admitted to practice in New York.
Mr. Pfeiffer earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from Albany Law School. He is a member of the Elder Law and the Trust and Estate Sections of the New York State Bar Association, and was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section.
He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York. He is a board member of the Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar program and also conducts interviews for the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program. He is a lifelong resident of the Capital Region.
