Admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Education: Fairfield University (B.S.) magna cum laude and Presidential Scholar; University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D.) high honors. Mr. Fitzgerald also attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He served as a director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.
Mr. Fitzgerald focuses his practice on civil litigation, including the representation of the Firm's public sector clients in the litigation of employment issues, including discrimination claims, and construction claims. He has represented clients in the litigation of complex cases involving employment law, education, commercial health care and antitrust issues.
Mr. Fitzgerald has served as an adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is active in a variety of community services. He serves as the President of the School Board of St. Pius X School and as a board member of S.T.R.I.D.E., Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides sports and therapeutic recreation instruction and developmental education for disabled children. Mr. Fitzgerald is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American, New York and Albany Bar Associations.
