In law school, Ms. Moffett completed a concentration in international law and received the Disabilities Law Clinic Prize. Ms. Moffett is a Board Member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and a member of the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce Capital Leadership Alumni Association, the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, John F. Kennedy Chapter. She is a member of the Capital Leadership Class of 2004.
Ms. Moffett concentrates her practice in the area of education law. She is experienced in the field of special education, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Her practice in the area of special education has included consultation, mediation, litigation and appellate work in state administrative proceedings. She has made presentations in the area of special education and discipline for students with disabilities. |
